The Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in downtown Austin tells the Story of Texas with with three floors of interactive exhibits, the unique feature presentations and special effects in the Texas Spirit Theater, and Austin’s premier IMAX Theatre, featuring the signature large-format film, Texas: The Big Picture. A 35-foot-tall bronze Lone Star sculpture greets visitors in front of the Museum, and a colorful terrazzo floor in the Museum’s rotunda features a campfire scene with enduring themes from
Texas ’ past. The Museum has a cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and a museum store with something for the Texan in everyone.

Mon - Sat: 9 AM - 6 PM; Sunday Noon - 6 PM. Closed on New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve Day and Christmas Day. The IMAX Theatre has evening showtimes and is open on some holidays.
Exhibits: $12 adults, $10 students/seniors/military; $8 youths age 4 - 17; FREE under 4. IMAX Theatre: $9 adults, $8 seniors/military/students; $7 youths age 4 - 17. Special pricing for feature-length IMAX films. Additional ticket discounts available for Museum members and groups.
